Civil / Environmental Engineer

Position ActivitiesThe responsibilities for the role of an experienced engineer include, but are not limited to:Civil site design and analysesDesign, modeling, and operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plantsModeling and design of water and/or wastewater distribution pipe networks, including pump stationsUrban stormwater water quality monitoring and modelingPreparation of technical documents, regulatory reports, and permitsOversight of construction document development and construction managementConducting field investigationsNetworking with engineering consulting firms and municipal utilities to foster and enhance partnershipsCandidates are not required to have experience in all these areas but should be motivated to expand their skills and leverage complementary corporate strengths. Education and LicensureA Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related discipline, is required.Professional registration or certification (e.g., PE, CFM, CPESC, LEED AP, PMP) is preferred.An advanced degree in civil or environmental engineering or management, or a closely related discipline, is also preferred.

Skills, Experience, and QualificationsA minimum of five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of post-graduate education and experience, is preferred.A valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required for business travel.
