📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Well regarded and rapidly growing Chicago-based plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks an experienced paralegal or legal secretary. The position is for a paralegal/legal secretary to work on all phases of transportation, premises liability and nursing home negligence and abuse cases. The work will primarily consist of drafting pleadings and discovery responses, and interacting with clients, medical providers and lienholders. Position also requires assistance with general office tasks such as clerical work, data management, and file organization.
Candidates must be self-motivated, ethical, good writers and communicators, and be committed to the practice of representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. The firm is energetic and vibrant and values candidates with similar qualities.
This is a long term position with opportunity for growth. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience. Compensation includes base salary, bonus potential, employer supported health insurance, employer supported retirement account and other fringe benefits.
