Operations Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will play a crucial role in managing resources, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence within the production environment.Key Responsibilities:Production Planning and Scheduling:Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and organizational goals.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery.Process Optimization:Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in manufacturing processes.Quality Assurance:Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.Investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.Resource Management:Effectively manage production resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.Team Leadership:Lead and motivate the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and support for professional development within the team.Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:Work closely with other departments, such as supply chain, engineering, and maintenance, to achieve overall company objectives. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Operations Management, or a related field.Proven experience (10+ years) in manufacturing operations. Background in medical devices is strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and quality assurance.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
