Job Description: The primary purpose of an Inventory Control Specialist is to ensure efficient management and accuracy of inventory within the Johnson & Johnson organization.
Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments, conduct visual inspections to ensure product integrity, verify quantities, and review all necessary documentation.Utilize SAP to manipulate data and update inventory, ensuring accurate quantities are maintained at all times.Oversee the tracking, storage, and movement of inventory, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels to meet demand without excess or shortage.Analyze inventory data and trends to identify potential issues, such as overstock or slow-moving items, and make recommendations for improvements to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs.Generate reports on inventory levels, trends, and discrepancies to inform decision-making processes within the organization, helping to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.Perform assigned cycle counts and adhere to FIFO principles.Adhere to cGMP processes and procedures as well as Good Documentation Practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
