Role reports to- Supply Planning Manager

Location- Skillman, NJ (Kenvue’s corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

Travel %- 10%

Pay- $88,000 – 142,600

What You Will Do

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze demand and supply trends to identify potential risks and opportunities. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and supply chain activities. Continuously improve supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Provide regular reports and updates to management on supply chain performance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to identify areas for improvement. Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes. Analyzes product demand, sales patterns, forecasts, production specifications, and plant capacity data. Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production spec. Reviews support documents for scheduling which includes ordering route sheets, entering all requirements into the computer, and so on. Monitors planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information. Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure the on-time delivery of products. Reviews capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints. Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches. Expedites and secures parts needed for production. Ensures timely ordering and delivery of components to support manufacturing activities. Prepares production reports. Analyzes month-end activity to determine the need for forecast modification. Recommends revisions. Participates in new product launch meetings and assists in developing new product forecasts and production schedules.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 4 + years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Desired Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office and production planning software. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

What’s In It For You

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $88,000 to $142,600. This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
