With over 45 plants across North America, the Owatonna, MN, USA plant is a part of our Beverage division that mass blends savory food ingredients. These dry blended ingredients improve taste and solubility to products like K-Cups, probiotics drinks, vinegar and blended rice’s which are packaged by our customers. What You'll Do

The Production Sanitation position is responsible for janitorial tasks that are part of the Sanitation Program. Supporting the production team with industrial sanitation needs, maintaining supply levels, cleaning drains, following GMP and required protocols. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas such as lunchroom, rest rooms, offices and trash pick-up and removal. This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. In the absence of the Industrial Sanitation employee, another Industrial Sanitation employee will serve as backup. We offer multiple career paths, training in GMP, HACCP, food safety and food production related subjects.

Day Shift, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, Overtime on Fridays Available *

Qualifications And Skills

High School graduate or equivalent required. Basic math skills, ability to calculate percentages. 1 yr. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility. Knowledge of GMP's, food manufacturing sanitation requirements Use of RF scanners, inventory tracking and control systems Prior lift truck operation and safety certification. Use of MS products required, SAP software preferred. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Able to work unsupervised, as well as working together with others Good organizational and mathematical skills Knowledge of food manufacturing sanitation requirements. Ability and willingness to follow, plant Quality, Safety and Security policies and guidelines. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and plant leaders.
