Operations Initiatives Project Manager

The Operations Initiative Project Manager will identify, create, and deliver best practice processes throughout DSD. This position will lead high impact projects across KDP operations.This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership on a regular basis. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership skills, held various business roles, think strategically across a broad range of topics, and be motivated to drive change.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead key special projects for KDP’s System and network optimizations teams heavily focusing on building startups and expansionCollaborate with champions, including the Senior Vice President, to deliver projects on time and on budgetDevelop and Maintain Relationships – within the Operations Initiatives team and throughout KDP networkManagers success will come from people and process; developing and maintain the right relationships and using a collaborative approach will ensure overall successCoordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budgetAnalyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be metProvide consistent communication on project status and changesDrive Culture Change – Drive fact-based decision making throughout the organizationWill need to utilize system skills (data pull and analysis) frequentlyAbility to travel a MINIMUM of 50% within the US and North America is an expectation of this jobAlthough this position is to primarily focus on new building start-ups plus existing building expansions and improvements, other critical DSD projects may be assigned as ne
