We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join the dynamic maintenance team. As a key player in the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the industrial equipment and machinery, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the facility.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks on industrial machinery, including but not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues promptly. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex technical problems and implement effective solutions. Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform accurate repairs and installations. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to log work orders, track equipment history, and manage spare parts inventory. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall equipment efficiency.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred. Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
