Surveying Technician

We are partnering with a company working on a once in a lifetime construction project. Offering a fly in and fly out program. Excellent pay, full benefits, don't need to relocate!

• Candidates can fly in and work 2-3 weeks, then fly home for 1 week-Company will pay for all flights flying in and out, complete lodging and company vehicle or rental while working.-OT available! 10 hrs. per week but in the summer this can get up to 20+ hours

Survey Party Chief will assist in planning and executing proposed field survey activities including construction staking and other construction related surveys while maintaining daily survey notes.

Responsibilities:Responsible for field data collection, field calculations, using proper survey procedures and construction layout for earthworks and structural construction.Performs accurate measurements and calculations in recording the field data using instruments and measuring devicesDrives company or personal vehicle to reach jobsitesIdentifies hazardous situations and applies safety procedures and company standardsEffective communicating with Survey Manager as to progress updates, scope changes, HSSE reporting and other project impactsOther duties as assigned

Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge of field survey methods and calculations.Strong cooperative skills in working efficiently with a team.Experience/Qualifications:3-5+ years of survey experience including party chief experienceTechnical school diploma or certificate in a related fieldValid Driver’s License required1-2 years of Earthworks experience
