Social Media Communications Designer

Description

A social media & Communications Designer provides the creative execution of all outward facing collateral and messaging. This includes social media posts, catalogs, marketing material, sales deck templates, corporate identity and experiential environments (trade booths). The position requires a person to be a very visual storyteller who can deliver a message in a multitude of ways. They should be social media obsessed and stay on top of all current trends and platforms. They possess the ability to design for digital and traditional print. The role requires one to be a “self-starter” and proactive in trying new ways to reach our audience and influence our buyers.

Objectives of this Role

Deliver a meaningful message to our audience in multiple platforms and materials. Significantly Expand our followers and audience.Deliver impactful sales and marketing collateral on time.Create entertaining and on brand content.Design and plan trade exhibit spaceCollaborate with Brand Managers in designing materials needed to deliver to right message.Collaborate with other KP Creatives on style guides and visual identity systems.

Specific Responsibilities

Manage the Kids Preferred social media sites Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Develop meaningful creative and entertaining content for Kids Preferred and their third-party brands. Design annual product catalogs, mini-brand catalogs, sales sheets, and collateral.Design trade booth, manage trade show communication and execution.Create visual graphics for promotional materials and corporate signage.

Qualifications

3 years’ experience4-year college degree in Visual Communications, Design or Multi-MediaStrong design skillset, creative problem solver, can do attitude, proficient in Adobe Design SuiteDeep knowledge of social media platforms, printing methods and project planning/scheduling

Uploading creative storytelling social media posts celebrating any of our brands and product programs.Design catalog, sales and marketing collateral layouts.Meeting with various Brand teams to discuss upcoming events and messaging needs.Exploring new ways to build and expand our social media following.Filming, taking pictures and creating new content.
