Oregon’s leading winery seeks an experienced Tasting Room Manager. King Estate Winery, known as a destination location in Eugene, Oregon, includes an elegant on-site tasting room, multiple guest houses and event venues in one of the state’s most beautiful settings. Three (3) years or more of experience in wine service in a fast-paced restaurant business A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Food & Beverage cost control and labor forecastingSuccessful history in personnel managementStrong wine knowledge. Sommelier certification or WSET preferred but not required Computer skills including Revel, Tock, Gather, POS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) highly preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as requiredStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to associates across all levels of the organizationAbility to manage multiple projects with a thorough focus on detailMust exhibit the highest level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive and confidential informationDemonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExperience effectively managing staff, schedules, budgets and business practicesEvent coordination experience: planning, organizing, scheduling and staffing
