Summary: Review Kingspan shop drawings and detail every project to create an accurate bill of materials list.
Essential Duties:Conduct quality checks on bill of materials.Verify mathematical calculations.Verify all change orders are incorporated on every project.Provide an accurate count of panels, trims, and accessories.Produce a bill of materials (BOM) list in company format from final approved set of drawings.Monitor processes for compliance with standards.Communicate with Project Coordinators and/or Drafters as needed.
Education/Experience:Associate's or Technical degree or appropriate level of related experience.Estimating experience a plus.Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.Previous experience preferred in pre-engineered metal building and/or architectural design.Good communication and mathematical skills.Ability to meet deadlines and problem solve with minimal supervision.Ability to work within a team environment.Computer Skills:Competency in AutoCAD required. (Revit experience a plus).Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
