Since its establishment in 1993, KIOTI has experienced rapid growth as a result of its unique ability to facilitate responsive engineering and production of KIOTI products specifically designed to meet the growing needs of North American equipment users.
Today, KIOTI Tractor sells its products through an expanding KIOTI dealer network of more than 500 dealerships located throughout North America. To assist with this, we have a strategically positioned U.S. warehouse distribution system and its streamlined parts, service and fulfillment center located in Wendell, North Carolina.
This will be an onsite position in Raleigh, NC, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
JOB SUMMARYKIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team onsite in Wendell, NC. The Inventory Control Specialist serves as a support person to the Inventory Manager and the Warehouse shipping and receiving. This person will be cross-trained and gain exposure to many functions including claims processing, inventory maintenance, site transfers, cycle counting, and other warehouse functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOBInventory Management:Transfer inventory to appropriate locationsTrack incoming and outgoing productProvide inventory control reporting as requiredMaintain count accuracy (digital and physical counting)Annual physical inventory countingImprovement projectsIdentify new pick locations to streamline receiving/shipping processIdentify, research, and resolve mislabeled partsLocate misplaced parts to help satisfy sale to customerResolve inventory discrepancies by identifying errors and complete proper correctionsHelp maintain proper product identification and location accuracy and ability to transfer product to correct location if neededMonitor and control inventory integrityOther Responsibilities:Review product on each shelf, clean and replace old, unreadable labelsDetermine and track KPIsOptimize employee workflow to improve processesHep monitor inventory levels and report findings to the Procurement team if neededInspect all equipment and order repairs and replacements when required and include daily maintenance reports to facilitator
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in related field1-5 years of related inventory experienceAbility to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environmentExcellent mathematical skillsFamiliarity with inventory controlMust be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skillsStrong time management skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present informationForklift Certification is a plusProficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required, experience with Solomon, Dynamics SL, or similar CRM a plus
