Contract Corporate Litigation Attorney

Job Description

KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking New York licensed corporate litigation attorneys with mid to senior-level experience for immediate openings. The ideal candidate will have experience with taking and defending depositions. On-site work is required.

Selected candidates will take depositions and assist with litigation on a large case with several consolidated matters. This is a contract assignment, however, future opportunities involving more substantive work may become available.

Qualifications

Must be barred in NY State Must be admitted in Federal Court Must be either a member of the bar for the SDNY/EDNY or be eligible for admission by reciprocity. Accurately review attorneys’ fees timesheets to draft settlement memos. Prior courtroom experience is preferred and should be highlighted on your resume. Substantive legal experience and settlement negotiation experience should be highlighted on your resume. Must be able to commit to 40 hours per week for the duration of the assignment. Strong attention to detail and capability to prioritize tasks. Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
