Analyst – Financial Planning and Analysis

KOMPAN U.S. is looking for a dynamic Analyst – Financial Planning and Analysis who will be responsible for the FP&A function in a rapidly growing business.

This role will provide financial consulting and strategic support to leadership including preparing presentations, analyses of operating results and trends, industry / peer group analysis, forecasting and other projects requested by management. This position acts as the analytical engine of the business to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.

In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do· Lead the annual planning and monthly forecast update process and help develop value-added analyses of the projections· Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, freight, and expenses· Responsible for analysis of regular reporting of variances against annual plan and forecasts· Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives· Support Leadership Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis· Prepare presentations for the Leadership Team

What You’ll NeedBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance5+ years of experience1+ years of experience in FP&A environmentAdvanced level experience with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to work constructively with many different functions (sales, logistics, installation, manufacturing, etc.)Highest standards of accuracy and precisionExcellent communication, presentation, and organizational skillsStrategic and creative thinker with the ability to solve complex mathematical problemsHighly driven and self-motivated

This position is an in-office role at KOMPAN's U.S. headquarters in Austin, TX.
