📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities

Logistics specialist to help facilitate a warehouse move from Boston To Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF Scanning, Inventory, Cycle Counts, working with electronics or AV equipment would be a big plus. The hours are 7-4, and candidates must be able to pass a background check. This will be a quick 1 interview to hire. Contract through the summer with a strong possibility to convert full-time. Monitor and maintain inventory levels for main warehouse location, offsite storage, FTR (rest of company), and coordinate with subcontractors on stock and replenishment when necessary. • Audit, record and track all inventory from warehouse distribution to end destination. • Manage supplier complaints, settle disputes, and resolve conflicts to acceptable purchasing standards and until corrective action is acceptable to the company • Assist accounts payable personnel with supplier invoice issues • Assist in new product sourcing and design as requested • Identify the developmental needs of others in understanding the Inventory/Logistics process and provide the coaching required to achieve positive results • Establish objectives and strategies to identify potential money-saving opportunities • Analyze/compare supplier options and make recommendations to source product • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work • Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with critical suppliers • Develop, implement & maintain Inventory, Logistics, and Audit instructions, policies and procedures• Considerable physical activity. May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse• Receive equipment upon delivery, reconcile issues such as damage, short shipments, etc., unpack/unbox and put away.• Re-stock consumable items (zip ties, screws, packing materials, tape, office supplies, etc) as necessary.• Label shelves put away areas as needed; ensure Bin locations are kept and maintained.• General organization and upkeep of warehouse.• General warehouse maintenance-sweeping, cleaning, sorting, reconfiguring physical layout as necessary, schedule trash pickup as needed, monitor and and report any building issues as needed.• Work with technicians and Project Managers for pulling equipment for rack fabrication.• Schedule and coordinate electronic waste E-Recycle pickups.• Schedule and coordinate scrap metal pickups (excess metal pieces from racks, decommissioned empty racks, etc)• Schedule and coordinate courier deliveries from shop to courthouse locations within specific timeframes.• Schedule courier/employee movement of inventory between FTR locations or court locations. Position Summary Primary Role Accountabilities• Inter-office shipping as needed (equipment to/from Arizona or AUS)• Prep, pack and manage Demo systems/equipment as needed.RMA/Advance Replacement/Credits• Coordinate with technicians and service technicians on return/replacement of equipment.• Coordinate with MFR’s on faulty or damaged equipment to obtain RMA or advance replacement.• Record issues/RMA information in Google doc pre and post receipt of RMA.• Work with technicians as needed for troubleshooting with MFR for RMA or advance replacement equipment.• Troubleshoot or call MFR’s for non technical RMA’s to set up return and replacement as needed.• Coordinate with Finance on RMA/Credit/Adv Replacement details and or new PO creation as needed.• Use EXO to monitor sales orders, print sales orders/pick tickets.• Physically pick and pack orders/prepare for shipment• Process Sales Order in EXO and ship via UPS (domestic and international)• Monitor FTR LTD stock• Collaborate with Sales on questions/issues as needed (shipping quotes, inventory questions, etc.
