Production Associate

Ideal candidates must be motivated to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

What's on the menu?

Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.Responsible for maintaining quality standards by checking quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging of product, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc.Responsible for accurately inserting components in cartons, taking weights, and recording data.Responsible for ensuring supplies are used on the line.Operate packing or filling equipment.Recordkeeping as required on manual, computer, and other systems.Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area.General housekeeping duties.Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Performs a variety of sanitation and maintenance-type functions such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.Must check product and fill out quality documentation.Follow GMP guidelines.Professionally work as part of a team.Must be willing to be an active participant in Safety and Continuous Improvement Teams.Performs additional duties as directed by Team Leader and Shift Leader.This position will be expected to complete training on upgrade and relief positions within the department.Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.

Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overheadLifts, carries, pushes, lifts, and grips objects; climbs stairsRoutinely pulls and moves up to 50 poundsMust possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment.Ability to stand while inserting components and do sustained activity jobs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent requiredBasic math, reading, and communicationAbility to adjust to temperature changes (lower 40s to above 100 degrees); can be in hot/humid or cool environment depending on assigned job tasksPrior manufacturing experience is preferred

Office Collaboration & Hybrid Work Environment
