SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate all inside sales and customer service-related activities pertaining to parts, new equipment and service activities. Coordinates with other departments to provide all appropriate customer service. Coordinates all data entry for related activities. Coordinates all EMG work documentation. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Handles incoming calls, routing customers to other service areas as appropriate.Performs inside sales and customer service-related activities pertaining to parts, equipment and repair.Performs data entry and computer functions for processing of sales orders, purchase orders, purchase receipts, inventory set-up, internet on-line entry with vendor systems, quotations and service billing.Assist outside sales personnel with quotations, research, product specifications and selection, quote follow-up and expediting.Process after-hours emergency calls as part of the Emergency Services Team. Process outgoing shipments, receiving incoming shipments.Assist in the design and improvement of Customer Service Role Center and associated modules within Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Assist management with safety procedures including but not limited to forklift and hoist checks and safety audits.

DESCRIBE NATURE OF CUSTOMER CONTACT: Principally email and telephone contact on a regular basis.EDUCATION: Technical associate degree helpful or 3-5 years equivalent experience which can include office experience.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE: 3 years industrial experience with sales or purchasing experience preferred. SPECIALIZED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: Prefer knowledge of motors and related apparatus as well as sales order processing and purchasing experience.Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Must have excellent organization skills; attention to detail.Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude.Must have ability to learn, handle multiple priorities and willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of a dynamic service environment. An intuitive personality where this strength is deployed to compliment a team environment.Must be able to or willing to learn to drive a forklift.Computer/keyboard skills required to include Outlook, Word, Excel, an MRP system or related inventory/accounting system.Customer service in industrial service.Knowledge of LEAN principals would be helpful.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be willing to work in shop and warehouse environment. Recommend appropriate casual dress. May include lifting of boxes in shipping and receiving.May be required to work outside the normally scheduled hours, when necessary, based on work load.
