Supply Chain Manager 3PL

Description

Responsible for the day-to day operation effectiveness of a retail division, supply chain and distribution network. Oversee and drive increasing levels of performance, operating efficiency and customer satisfaction in collaboration with third party (3PL) site/vendor management. Lead and improve execution for the division as it relates to Full, Fresh, and Friendly. Work in an ever-changing environment that drives strategic thinking with detailed execution and cross functional collaboration across the network. Responsibilities

Monitor all operational day-to-day activities pertaining to warehouse, manufacturing, service to division and address/resolve all issues that ariseCollaborate with division/store leadership on initiatives/projects to improve cost, quality and service and resolve operational issuesIdentify learnings from initiatives/projects and utilize continuous improvement methodologies/tools to drive service enhancement and cost savingsMonitor, forecast, manage and report operational expenses compared to budgets and prior years to Supply Chain leadershipStrategize with division/store leadership on plans for holidays, special events and store emergency responseEngage with division leadership and respective account manager for the area to support marketing and sales initiativesDrive the safety culture and collaborate with 3PL management to continuously improve safety performanceDevelop, monitor and ensure delivery of key performance indicators (KPI s) including cost management and store services, 3PL DC Operations and TransportationCollaborate with 3PL management to develop and implement the operational & capital budgets, providing for needs including technology, facilities, and equipmentProvide guidance, vision, and expectations in distribution and supply chain initiatives to 3PL management, retail division, and suppliersUnderstand total distribution and store operations, with an emphasis on vendor supply chain programs to provide excellent customer service and lower cost of productCoordinate operational excellence between 3PL site management and 3PL transportation managementTravel as needed for stakeholder interestsSupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree business or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years multiple site operational leadership experience in distribution or manufacturing Strong P&L performanceStrong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusionsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peersCommitted to strong 3PL partnerships and building strong relationshipsAbility to identify business problems and develop efficient and effective solutionsExcellent written, oral and presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office software programsStrong follow-up and accountability skills
