Our Jamaica/Queens/New York branch is looking for a new Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

Supervise the dispatch process by offering assistance/guidance to dispatch staff as needed. You correct and/or alert potential or real problems to management. Be the right hand to the Dispatch Manager.

Your Responsibilities

This is a 24/7/365 facility and flexibility for overtime, weekend and holidays is requiredSupervise the dispatch employees and over 100 independent contractorsHelp handle all related dispatch activities as needed, i.e. training, problem jobs, etc.Cover the driver / IC payroll as neededDispatch all jobs to drivers quickly and accuratelyCommunicate with Control Towers,airlines and vendors with status updates as requiredDocument and escalate all problems/situations as per company policy and proceduresReport vehicle accidents/driver incidents immediately to Manager/HRHelp schedule and manage staff & vehicle repairs and equipmentYou report to the Dispatch Manager

Your Skills And Experiences

Associate degree or equivalent experience2+ of customer service experience3+ years of Dispatch experience for a 3PL1+ experience in a leadership roleExpert in Microsoft 365
