Inventory Manager

Your Role

In this role, you will ensure the physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, and account for all defective or damaged products, and provide corrective action. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5pm. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.

Your Responsibilities

You will be accountable for the success of the inventory function and customer satisfaction Lead an inventory team, train and motivate staff, evaluate and guide their performance, and nurture their professional development Identify new techniques and analytics to improve the overall planning processLead the annual cost planning process ensuring accuracy and transparencyOversee and monitor discrepancies via cycle counts and adjustmentsImplement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk Build a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properlyPromote accountability and process improvement based on goals; create action plans and issue resolution trackingCreate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory rolesManage related quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reportsCreate all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate countsDrive accountability and process improvement based on KPIs and targets, including creating action plans and issue resolution tracking

Your Skills And Experiences

Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience7+ years of experience in a distribution environment 5+ years in an inventory role3+ years in a leadership position3+ years of WMS experienceExperience handling healthcare product in a 3PL environment is strongly preferredCertified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus
