Job Description

Validates documentation including DD250, DD1149, Commercial paperwork and validates all product including purchased parts, systems, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies, finished product for compliance to all applicable customer and contractual requirements and prepares items for presentation to the customer for acceptance and delivery.

Essential Functions

Visual Inspection of products and their associated documents in accordance with L3Harris Workmanship Standards, engineering requirements, customer specifications, work instructions, inspection plans, Quality Program Plans, Customer Quality clauses and other requirements as needed.Organized and detail oriented.Create and maintain records with a very high level of accuracy.Excellent communication skills and able to function at a high level in stressful situations. Control of non-conforming product per company policies and procedures.Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection, processing, and customer presentation.Applicant will need to be able to work in all types of environments (inside and outside), in all kinds of weather.Applicant will often work late or weekends to help meet business goals (typically end of month) Able to identify problems and issues and offer straightforward solutions.Be able to move 30 lbs.

Qualifications

Requires highly developed job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills

Working knowledge and understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001 Quality systemsExperience interfacing with external customers such as DCMA and other DoD PrimesExperience with WAWF, PIEE, government contracts and MIL standards.Strong computer skills including SAP.Proficient use of MS Office SuiteAbility to read and comprehend detailed control plans, work instructions, Quality Program Plans, Quality clauses, and other related criteria.Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface across the organization to achieve effective results.Experience effectively working in a team environment to solve problems and balance workloads.Experience with electronics workmanship standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620Experience in Aerospace manufacturing, mechanical assemblies, and/or electronic assemblies.
