📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Pilot-in Command BBD-700
Duties
Command and operate Global 6000 aircraft in accordance with FAA, company, and customer directives. Coordinates with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct aircraft discrepancies. Employees may be assigned other duties, as directed by management. Position is for full-time employment on the economy at an overseas location.
General Requirements
21 years of age
US Citizenship
Current US passport
Top Secret clearance with Special Compartmented Information or SCI eligible
Valid State Driver’s License
Read, write, speak and understand English
Must meet all medical standards
FAA Class II Medical Certificate
FAA Requirements
Airplane Multiengine – Airline Transport Pilot (ATP)
Flight Time Requirements
Minimum of 3,000* hours of total documented flight time
Minimum of 1,500* hours of total Pilot in Command time
Minimum of 1,500 hours of turbine, fixed-wing multiengine time
When evaluating the flight time of applicants meeting the basic qualifications, consideration will be given to, among other things, quality, quantity, recent experience, and verifiability of training; complexity of aircraft flown; types of flight operations; and hours flown as PIC in turbine powered aircraft. Applicants invited to interview must provide appropriate documentation of all flight hours.
Preferred Experience
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
BBD-700 or other GLEX like types
5,000 hours total document flight time
500 hours of Instrument (actual) time
1,000 hours of business jet time
Rating held for the last three (3) consecutive years
Licensing, Certification Requirements
Formal or Specialized Training/Equivalent on assigned aircraft and equipment to include FAA GLEX type rating
Security Clearance
Current TS/SCI or TS/SCI eligible
Required Training
Current Altitude Chamber
Current Water Survival
SERE 100A
Preferred Training
SERE C , S-V 80-A (USAF)
SERE 220
Other
Pre-employment drug test and a medical exam administered by L3Harris
Criminal history records check and a background check will be performed
Special consideration will be given to military trained aviators with less than the minimum number of hours
