Job Description

This is a ground-floor opportunity for a Senior Specialist Quality Engineering position in support of a new advanced packaging and back-end-of-line (BEOL) wafer fabrication effort at our Palm Bay, FL location. The successful candidate will be the responsible authority for all aspects of Quality Assurance for the Microelectronics Division. As the business grows, so will the span of responsibility and scope of this position, potentially including the establishment and development of a larger Quality Assurance team.

Essential Functions

Develop, implement and continuously improve quality plans for all production phases across all product linesCollect, analyze and report quality performance metricsPerform statistical process control analyses and improve product qualityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure world-class quality standards are achieved and maintainedLead the timely execution, analysis and closeout of Non-Conformance ReportsCoach and develop junior team members on quality assurance processes and proceduresStay current on corporate, regulatory and industry standards regarding quality and ensure complianceWork with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain to develop and align Tier 1 supply basePerform quality audits at key semiconductor foundry partner(s)Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related STEM fieldPrior semiconductor, advanced packaging, or microelectronics experienceA minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 4 years with a graduate degree or 10+ years or prior related experience with no degreeSecurity Clearance required upon hire: Ability to ObtainSecurity Clearance required for role: Top Secret / SCI w/Poly

Preferred Additional Skills

Six Sigma Green Belt or higherASQ certification in one or more of the following:Quality EngineerProcess Quality Process AnalystReliability Engineer Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills
