📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job descriptionLA Fitness, America's premier fitness and sports club chain is quickly growing throughout the United States and has an immediate opening for a qualified Area Manager. (Supervisory or management experience preferred as a prerequisite for consideration). Responsibilities include:Provide excellent customer service to members and provide a timely resolution for any escalated issue.Meet and exceed revenue goals while still providing a high level of customer service.Provide a friendly, clean, well maintained state-of-the-art facility to enhance the member’s experience.Schedule and Facility Audits for clubs in the market.You will be managing only one location but assisting the District Manager with report audits. L.A. Fitness offers a motivating work environment, competitive pay and complimentary gym membership. Requirements for Area Manager include:At least one year management experience and 4-year college degreeRetail, food, hospitality experience a plusCustomer service skillsExcellent, professional communication skills with both internal and external contactsSkilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentMust be courteous and tactful.Exceptional telephone skillsHighly organizedMust be at least 18 years old.This position if full time with benefits. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 am - 6 pm, Friday 8 am - 5 pm.Salary:Hourly plus commissions: $47 - 52k yearlyBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceShift:8-hour shiftWeekly day range:Monday to Friday 9am-6pmWork Location: In person
