Our Team Members also have the opportunity to give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals. Since 2017, we have provided 500+ rabies vaccines and performed over 900 spay/neuters. In 2021, we opened a hospital in the Galapagos and sent four teams to make a difference for the community and their pets.

This position is full-time but will consider part-time for the perfect candidate. We offer a schedule with some flexibility and the opportunity to become a leader in our clinic. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter, great multi-tasker, team player, and has attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

Assist veterinarians with appointmentsEducate clients about wellness and prevention, nutrition, and individual pet health needsProvide high-quality service to all clients while maintaining maximum productivityInitiate laboratory, radiology, and treatment proceduresPrepare and monitor patients before, during, and after anesthetic proceduresAdminister medications under the direction of a veterinarianAnticipate veterinarian and team member needsFoster a positive working culture built on our valuesPerform dental prophylaxis and radiographsSupport a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork and ensures the delivery of quality, compassionate, effective, and efficient health care to petsComply with all practice policies, quality assurance guidelines, and minimum standards of care

Physical Requirements

Education/Experience

6+ months as Certified Veterinary Technician or VTNE eligibleCompletion of two-year veterinary technology program (AVMA-accredited)Certification as Veterinary Technician highly desired

Salary:Starting at $22.00

This position starts up to $22/hr, pay is based on experience and certification.

$1,000 signing bonus applicable after 6 months of employment.
