Veterinary Assistant Position
Pet Emergency Trauma Services, an overnight and weekend emergency facility, located in the beautiful Big Sky country of Montana, is seeking like-minded emergency veterinary professionals to join our growing team. Our team is a close-knit, compassionate group who strive to always provide the best in emergency care to our patients. We are a full-service emergency hospital with an in-house diagnostic lab, digital radiography, state-of-the-art surgical suite, and onsite pharmacy, serving Bozeman, and the surrounding area.

Skills Required
Phlebotomy and other laboratory collection methodsProcessing in-house as well as out lab samples; IDEXX, Urinalysis, CytologyKnowledge of basic emergency procedures and ability to set up for incoming casesMedical record-keeping and invoicingCash handling, POS, obtaining deposits for financial estimatesIntake and Discharge of patientsRecognizing changes in status and conditions of hospitalized patientsAbility to communicate well with a team and report to a senior staff member or DVM on shiftFollowing directions both verbally communicated and written.Basic understanding of treatment/flow sheetsAll aspects of veterinary nursing care not mentioned aboveOther tasks to be assigned by DVM on shift or management as indicate
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $25.00+/hr; (plus overnight shift differential, 8pm to 8am)
