📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We're on the lookout for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining our production machinery & facilities. Based in Lima, NY, Lakelands offers a comprehensive range of architectural and precast concrete products and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients
Responsibilities:Performs scheduled maintenance of production equipment during preventive service.Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.Performs maintenance & repair duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting of production machines.Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Building maintenance duties as assigned including lighting fixture maintenance.Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.Daily clean-up of work area.Maintenance mechanics also support the building of metal and wood forms as needed.All other duties as assigned
Required experience: 2+ years of related maintenance experience in a production facility. HS Diploma or GED
Preferred skills & Experience: A.S in Industrial Maintenance, other relevant degree program OR related trade school program/certification.
