📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Compliance Analyst for a remote position who will be responsible for internal and client-facing compliance duties related to the classification and verification of independent contractors.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 to 5 PSTSalary: $48,000 to $55,000 annually
What you'll get to do:Independent contractor classifications and restructuresSix-month evaluationsMaintenance and management, training research, customer supportDaily checking and following-up with contractors for documents and next stepsBuild electronic audit defense compliance files and keep them updated with new documentationCreate billing filesResolve email and telephone inquiries relating to documentation, SOW’s, POs, invoice payments, consolidated billing etc.Work with new clients and our internal teams to implement compliance programsAdditional duties and responsibilities as required by business needs
Skills and experience we value:Bachelor’s degree required2-3 years of experience working in the staffing/recruiting industry Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task to handle multiple projects and competing prioritiesSelf-motivated individual that works well independently and within a team – must be comfortable working with varied groups (i.e. executive management, internal teams, clients and contractors)Attention to detail with an ability to meet tight timelinesPositive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skillsThe highest level of integrityProficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, MS Office)Experience with Canadian independent contractor compliance and T4 employee classification a plus
Benefits and location:The compensation range is: $48,000 - $55,000 annualized, depending on relevant experienceThe current delivery team is based in several states.
