Survey Party Chief

Lamp Rynearson, Inc., an engineering, land planning, land surveying, and consulting firm with a solid reputation for its recognized clients, projects, and people, has an excellent opportunity for a qualified Survey Party Chief in our Kansas City office. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team. Our survey party chiefs collect, process, and analyze field data, communicate with both internal and external clientele, coordinate, direct, and train field personnel to efficiently complete projects, and properly maintain the survey equipment and trucks. A successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies, including aerial fixed-wing and rotary drones, aquatic drones, 3D scanners, GPS, and total stations.

Qualifications include...High school diploma or GEDMinimum three years' experience as a party chiefStrong understanding of mathematics, surveying principles and QA/QC processesAbility to efficiently perform multiple types of surveys including but not limited to ALTA, boundary, construction, and topographic surveysStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesAbility to periodically work overtime including Saturdays and Sundays, as neededValid driver's license with clean driving recordPass background check

Ideal candidate will possess...Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3DDesire to explore and develop new technologiesPhotogrammetry and/or scanning experience
