Senior Counsel - Growing Technology Company Our client, a leading high-performing technology company based in Houston, is seeking a talented In-House Attorney to join their legal team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Counsel to support various teams including sales, marketing, and employment. Your primary responsibility will be drafting, negotiating, and ensuring compliance of various contracts crucial to the company's operations.
Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including sales agreements, vendor contracts, marketing agreements, and employment agreements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align legal strategies with business objectives.Conduct legal research and provide analysis on relevant legal issues.Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.Provide general legal support and advice to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar or eligibility for in-house licensure in Texas.Minimum of 2 years of transactional legal experience within a large law firm or reputable company, focusing on contract drafting and negotiation.Strong understanding of contract law principles and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Prior experience in the technology industry is a plus.
