AI Engineer

LaSalle Network is partnering with a global distribution company to identify an AI Engineer to join their team. The AI Engineer role within IT Service Delivery is responsible for the global delivery and evolution of the enterprise AI solution. Additionally, this role will provide direction and design for automation services and implementing generative AI technologies. The AI Engineer will design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art AI solutions using advanced techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision and reinforcement learning.

AI Engineer Responsibilities:Implement and optimize AI algorithms and models to ensure high-quality performance and scalabilityConduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and related fields; integrate new techniques and methods to enhance existing models and algorithmsLead and mentor a team of AI engineers, providing guidance, support and performing code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverablesCollaborate with software engineering teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and applicationsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation details and user guideConduct statistical analysis and interpret the results to guide and optimize the organization's decision-making processBuild AI models from scratch and help product managers and other stakeholders with analysis and implementationTransform machine learning models into APIs that can be integrated with other applicationsStay current with new and emerging technology and industry trends to identify solutions that may benefit the businessLeverage monitoring and other analytical tools to measure security, performance and health of the IT Infrastructure and drive continuous service improvement of employees, processes and technologies. Provide capacity planning, trend analysis and resource utilization reporting to manage and improve application environment and infrastructure performance and prevent issues

AI Engineer Requirements:Proven experience as an AI Engineer, with a strong track record of developing and deploying AI solutionsExtensive knowledge of AI algorithms, machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworksProficiency in Python and other relevant programming languagesExperience with popular AI libraries and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras or CaffeSolid understanding of data management, data preprocessing and feature engineeringStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative AI solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
