Senior Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney

About the role: Prominent law firm is ideally seeking an experienced Attorney with a background in Workers’ Compensation. In addition to the requisite experience, the ideal candidate will be incredibly organized, be able to prioritize tasks, consistently meet deadlines, and possess proven client service skills. What you will do: • Manage cases, prepare discovery, file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures and negotiate settlements. • Communicate with assigned clients at least every 30 days. • Handle a full caseload, which includes working the files from start to finish, making appearances, conducting depositions, coming up with plan of actions, and ensuring files move towards resolution. Our ideal candidate:Education and experience • At least 2 years of experience handling workers’ compensation cases preferred• Related insurance claims experience is a plus• Subrogation/Civil Litigation experience is a plus, but not required• Lien experience is a plus, but not required as we have a lien specialist.
