IP Docketing Specialist
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
LOD is currently seeking an experienced IP Docketing Specialist for a 100% remote assignment for one of our law firm clients. The successful candidate will start after an interview and selection by the Firm.
This contract assignment is expected to last 3 months, and candidates must be available to work EST hours. The pay rate is $40/hour.
Candidates must have recent IP docketing experience.
The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to;Analyzing all incoming correspondence related to the prosecution of intellectual property rights, discerning the pertinent information, and entering it into the docketing database.Other responsibilities include reconciling outgoing correspondence and attorney comments against docketed due dates to clear the docket daily.Perform all other job-related duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications:A minimum of three years previous experience with docketing software programs and strong Intellectual Property Docketing background with both patent and trademark prosecution (domestic and international) knowledge desired.Must have accurate data entry skills, proven organizational abilities, attention to detail.Knowledge of spreadsheet and database programs.Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as make practical decisions.Ability to problem-solve.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote environment.
LOD offers flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
