Sr. .NET Developer (BOCA RATON)

Ledgent Technology is actively seeking a seasoned .NET Developer on behalf of our esteemed client located in Boca Raton, Florida. This on-site position, requiring attendance five days a week, offers the opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in designing, coding, and refining software applications to meet our client's unique requirements. You will engage in the entire software development cycle, emphasizing high-quality software design, architecture, and efficient execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:Spearhead the creation and implementation of software assignments, while also offering assistance to colleagues in achieving their project goals.Employ security best practices in software design and extend support for post-deployment issues.Engage in the documentation, design, development, testing, and delivery of scalable software solutions.Update and enhance existing software to better meet evolving needs.Collaborate closely with team leaders, managers, and stakeholders to compile requirements and formulate functional specifications.Advocate for innovative ideas and make informed technical decisions.Fulfill additional tasks as necessary.Position Requirements:A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the IT sector.A minimum of four years of experience in developing web and enterprise applications.Proficiency in .NET Framework 4.x and newer versions, ASP.NET/C#, .NET Core, Webform/MVC, Web Services/WCF/REST, JavaScript/JQuery/Ajax, SQL/T-SQL, HTML5/HTML/CSS3, and experience with Content Management Systems.Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design alongside secure coding practices.Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS.A comprehensive understanding of the Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Desired Skills & Competencies:Preference for candidates with experience in Agile Development Methodologies and Mobile Development.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.The ability to work independently as a self-motivated, detailed-oriented team member.This role is perfect for those looking to make a significant impact through their technical expertise and innovation in a collaborative, professional environment.
