Legacy has an opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiology team. This position works in collaboration with physicians to provide complete patient-centered care. Under the direction of the Supervising Physician or Designated Agent, provides medical and surgical services to patients of the assigned clinic. Ability to make responsible decisions within the scope of practice as a dependent medical practitioner.

Qualifications
Education as required by licensure.
2 years of experience in a related field.
Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
Follows guidelines set forth in Legacy’s Values in Action.
Current ACLS certification.
Experience
Requires experience in direct patient management, in the surgical subspecialty of vascular, neurosurgery or orthopedic surgery (depending on assignment). Surgical assisting experience required. Knowledge of acute and chronic disease states, administration and prescription of medications, and delivering physical care following treatment plan.
