Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Science Educator at Legacy Preparatory Charter Academy (High School) in Mesquite, TX. The Science Educator will be responsible for planning and delivering science lessons, teaching subjects such as physics and forensic science, and ensuring students' learning and development within the science curriculum. The Science Educator will also contribute to school-wide events and collaborate with colleagues to create a meaningful and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

Experience in secondary Science Education, with expertise in Physics and Forensic Science Texas Educator license with relevant certificationsAbility to plan and organize effective lesson plansPassion for educating and inspiring students in the field of scienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong classroom management skillsExperience in creating a positive and inclusive learning environmentStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
