Deputy Tech Refresh Manager

Description

Leidos is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to support a large enterprise IT contract for the Department of Defense. This role requires expertise in managing large projects, coordinating planning, procurement, installation, and support activities and tracking of physical IT equipment. Provide customer with capabilities to modernize the full lifecycle management for delivery, maintenance, and decommissioning of IT assets.

Primary Responsibilities

Engaging directly with Stakeholders to identify initiatives and develop business casesEstablishing and adhering to budgets, schedules and quality standardsProactively identifying and remediating risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring timely resolutionIdentifying project resource requirements and escalating resource constraintsThe creation and control of project plans, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, scope, budgets and other established project processes to ensure successful delivery in both Waterfall and Agile methodologiesEnsuring project status reporting is accurate and timely and required project deliverables meet quality and compliance standardsDisplaying strong leadership and collaboration skills in working with stakeholders and project team members to manage, inform and influence outcomesManaging multiple project initiatives simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management and prioritization skillsDemonstrating ability to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environmentProvide input to Daily Logs, Weekly Activity Reports, and Monthly Reports on all network tasks performed, man hours used and parts usedProvide monthly functional area reports summarizing work accomplished, work planned in next month and important issues occurring during the month

Basic Qualifications

Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to resolve all situations in a professional mannerStrong leadership and accountability skills with a focus on delivering resultsDemonstrated experience with managing the planning, provisioning, and delivery of information technology services to large organizations.Strong ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations, including schedule management.Working experience in government contracting, particularly related to financial aspects and standard business practices (e.g., familiarity with and ability to interpret statements of work, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.)Proven experience with MS Project or other scheduling toolExperience leading technical teams providing hardware installation, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement, remote desktop imaging, remote management, and asset tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

ITIL CertificationPMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Clearance

Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required for this position OR active TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly.

Education

Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
