Leidos Dynetics is seeking a talented Manufacturing Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. Primary Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the manufacturing management team responsible for producing prototype and low-volume production hardware for the aerospace and defense industries, engineering design and production of EO/IR and RF systems, and electronic and mechanical systems, subsystems, and cable assemblies. Candidate will be expected to interface directly with multi-functional teams on technical issues and must be capable of implementing manufacturing solutions. Candidate will work closely with the engineering team to help produce complex systems.

The candidate must have experience in project activities related to mechanical manufacturing. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to follow prescribed procedures and to manage time to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Leading the welding, fabrication, assembly, and integration teams.Compiling project status reports.Coordinating project schedules.Engaging in project meetings.Coordinating and leading proposal efforts.Identifying and resolving project issues as they arise.Coordinating project activities and ensuring all project phases are documented appropriately.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must possess a BA/BS degree and have 5 years of relevant experience.Candidate must have 2 years leading teams and/or projects.Candidate must have demonstrated experience writing routine reports and correspondence.Candidate must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings/documents such as operating instructions, and procedures.Candidate must have demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.The position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in an Business management or 5 years experience leading multi-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.Preferred candidates will also have experience and/or working knowledge with: Costpoint, Agile PLM, and Epicor ERP.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project.

Pay Range

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
