Job Description: As a Civil Engineer Site Plan Designer at LSA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment by designing and reviewing site plans for a variety of projects. From commercial developments to residential communities, you will utilize your expertise in civil engineering principles, land use regulations, and CAD software to create detailed and efficient site plans that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.Conduct site analysis, including topography, drainage, and utility infrastructure, to inform design decisions.Develop conceptual and detailed site plans, grading plans, utility plans, and erosion control plans.Ensure compliance with local zoning codes, land use regulations, and environmental standards.Prepare permit applications and coordinate with regulatory agencies as necessary.Conduct site visits and inspections to verify conditions and monitor construction progress.Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.3+ years of experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on site planning and development.Strong understanding of land development regulations, stormwater management practices, and sustainable design principles.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
