📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
LHH is seeking an Accounting Manager for a hybrid role located in the loop. This role will involve overseeing various financial functions, including accounting, treasury, tax finance, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct and analyze studies on economic, business, and financial conditions affecting organizational policies and operationsAssist in the annual budget process for all operating entities alongside the FP&A teamLead the overhaul of the internal audit programSupervise the Operational Accounting team, including three direct reportsManage monthly closing activities, review journal entries, and financial statementsEnsure financial compliance with third-party management agreements and serve as a liaison to ownership groupsOversee balance sheet account analysis and utilize Sun Systems INFOR software to enhance financial reportingStreamline closing processes to meet deadlines and improve efficiencyProvide financial analysis and due diligence support for acquisitions or business opportunities
Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldCPA certification with 5+ years of corporate experience or 2-3 years in public accountingStrong managerial and leadership skills
