LHH is working with a company in the Dallas area that is looking for a new Accounting Manager. This role involves overseeing the financial management of the company's accounting department while contributing to the accurate and timely reporting of financial data for both internal and external purposes. The position entails maintaining robust internal controls within the Accounting Department and supporting various financial analyses.
This position pays 115K-120K+Bonus.
Job Responsibilities:Implement and manage a comprehensive system of accounting practices and procedures.Supervise and coordinate all accounting activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy.Prepare and review journal entries, analyze account reconciliations, and generate reports detailing monthly expenses by cost center.Conduct analyses of total corporate expenses, comparing results to forecasts and identifying trends.Perform Ad Hoc analyses as required.Coordinate with branches to ensure proper accounting treatment for purchases and expenses.Analyze balance sheets and income statements to provide valuable insights.Adhere to company procedures and compliance requirements.Perform additional duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a requirement.7+ Years of GL experienceExperience managing and mentoring Staff
