Accounting Supervisor
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This is a hybrid role with 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage accounting staffOversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.Review and reconcile financial statements, general ledger accounts, and bank reconciliations.Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance with new requirements.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.3or more years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and accuracy.
