Responsibilities:Prepare and process billing invoices for construction projects according to contract terms and project milestones.Review contracts, change orders, and other project documentation to ensure accurate billing.Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain necessary billing information and documentation.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of billing activities, payments, and project documentation.Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding billing inquiries or concerns.Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to construction billing.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in construction billing or accounts receivableProficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with construction contracts, change orders, and project documentation.Knowledge of construction billing regulations and best practices.
