📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
CFO Role in Lafayette CountyWe just started working with a growing healthcare organization that is looking for a new CFO to join the team. The duties are currently outsourced, but with their growth, they need to bring someone in house directly, so it is a great opportunity to make the role your own, while not starting from scratch. This position will be the right hand to the CEO and work closely with the Board as well. They have a fantastic benefits and PTO package too!
Job Duties:Monitors, interprets and analyzes hospital financial performancePrepares cash flow analyses and budget variance analyses.Assists the CEO in the development of long and short-range hospital operations plansRecommends budget modificationsAssumes a lead role in analyzing and exploring means of reducing hospital operating costs and increasing revenues based on knowledge of market trends, financial reports and operating proceduresEstablish and monitor financial reporting and communication of resultsDevelops long and short-range operational and capital budgetsProvide oversight of risk management strategies
Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMasters or CPA highly preferredAt least 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experienceHealthcare/Hospital experience requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills
