LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Controller to join join our clients team. As the Controller, your role is pivotal in driving financial strategies to new heights. You'll lead in financial planning and forecasting, manage debt financing, and excel in budget oversight, complete with metric reporting, detailed cost analysis, and impactful special projects. Beyond these strategic tasks, you'll also be hands-on, ensuring our accounting practices align seamlessly with GAAP standards on a daily basis. It's a dynamic position where you'll blend high-level financial planning with operational excellence, all contributing to our company's financial success and compliance.

Responsibilities: Manage the creation of financial statements, reconcile general ledger accounts, oversee cash flow management, handle invoicing, and lead tenant financial reporting.Engage hands-on in day-to-day tasks with support from the Senior Accountant.Lead and supervise a small team that includes a Senior Accountant, Accounting Analyst, and HR Manager.Foster collaboration with HR and various departments throughout the company.Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises to guide business decisions, particularly for complex projects like equipment leasing versus acquisition.Contribute insights to cost analysis and strategic planning initiatives.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:Possess 5-10 years of progressive experience overseeing accounting operations and staff, including monthly financial closures, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, contract management, internal controls, audits, or similar roles.Have prior experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or any field where cost analysis plays a crucial role.Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities, fostering effective collaboration across diverse personalities.Display articulate and relatable communication styles.Show at least 2 years of direct experience leading teams, demonstrating leadership prowess and effective mentoring skills.Exhibit the capacity to think swiftly and adapt to the fast-paced dynamics of a business environment, especially concerning ongoing projects across multiple locations (U.S. and Europe).This position is ideal for someone with technical expertise, leadership acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to contribute meaningfully to our company's financial stability and strategic growth.
