📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-regarded law firm based in New York, in recruiting a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for their new office on Long Island. This position is UNPOSTED.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of L&E litigation experience, specifically defending employers and individuals in federal and state employment matters involving discrimination, harassment and retaliation. In the public sector, the firm also defends municipalities and public officials in federal litigation involving employment practices and policymaking.
Responsibilities include working on arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, researching and advising on labor and employment-related statutes and related-litigation.
