Maintenance Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager, based in Cumberland County, New Jersey, reporting directly to the Plant Manager. This role entails overseeing a team responsible for maintenance operations within our facility, covering various aspects such as equipment upkeep, utilities management, and regulatory compliance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEnhancing and managing a preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency, while fostering operator involvement.Budget oversight for facility maintenance, with a focus on identifying cost-saving opportunities.Leading regulatory compliance efforts, including safety protocols and environmental standards.Collaborating on capital projects in conjunction with the Plant Engineer and Leadership Team.Contributing to sustainability initiatives and resource conservation efforts.Fulfilling other duties as necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervising a team of 4 direct employees and 25 indirect reports.Monitoring staff productivity, providing feedback, and implementing training and disciplinary measures.Maintaining professional knowledge through educational workshops and publications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEStrong administrative and supervisory skills.Proficiency in various maintenance areas including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, particularly in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.7-9 years of management experience, preferably with maintenance department leadership.Track record of improving reliability and operational efficiency through maintenance programs.Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.Understanding of manufacturing regulations and quality standards.Experience with maintenance management software (e.g., EMaint).Flexibility to work across shifts and weekends.Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
