Payor Contracting Manager

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payor Contracting Manager to oversee the negotiation, implementation, and management of contracts with payor organizations. The Payor Contracting Manager will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payor contracting, as well as maximizing reimbursement rates and revenue for the organization. This is a remote position, offering competitive compensation and benefits.Responsibilities:Lead the negotiation and execution of contracts with payor organizations, including commercial insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid.Develop and maintain relationships with payor representatives, ensuring clear communication and understanding of contract terms and requirements.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on contract terms and compliance standards.Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies, proactively identifying potential impacts on payor contracts and recommending strategies for adaptation.Conduct thorough reviews of contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and HIPAA.Monitor contract performance and financial metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to maximize reimbursement rates and revenue.Serve as a subject matter expert on payor contracting, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.Prepare reports and presentations on payor contracting activities, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas of opportunity for senior leadership.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in payor contracting or related field within the healthcare industry.Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and HIPAA.Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing contracts with payor organizations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.Compensation:Competitive salary range of $75,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.Remote work opportunity with flexible scheduling options.
