Production Operations Specialist
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:Update established reports to operations manager daily on operational capacity plan.On Time shipping, Order fill rate, volume output, labor results, cartons/min, etc.Direct workflow to ensure a proper labor balance across all warehouse departmentsSet Workroom order schedule a minimum on three days in advance of actual work date and ensure orders are dropped/picked in a timely manner to meet the workroom scheduleDevelop the drop plan to support the daily shipping expectations for the warehouse outbound manager.Ensure sufficient workflow is available to balance keeping all workers on task and meeting/exceeding shipment goals and delivering customer orders on time.Monitor the workroom schedule to ensure daily shipment go as planned.Follow up with inbound, outbound and workroom managers on priority orders to ensure they are shipped timely.Monitor warehouse target for order completeness and assess all orders at risk of missing the appointed optimal ship date.Interact with warehouse hourly workforce to assist with providing direction on priorities and problem solving with RF equipment and/or any other issues as they occur.
Qualifications:Degree in logistics or related field.Experience in all aspects of warehouse operations (scheduling, fulfillment center, production planning, wave planning, and/or Order Batch Control, etc)
